A Plan to Retire

I have achieved the age of 60 and how I wished I had begun to think and plan for an early retirement much sooner!  But now I am on that path with great determination to succeed.  My time should be my own to do with as I please and be not be enslaved by the continuing need to earn a living.  There are so many things left to accomplish in this life time.  I was recently notified by my current employer that my JOB is soon ending.  The company is closing it’s doors due to the poor economy.  That is OK.  I find myself exited about this new opportunity to re-invent myself and how I survive from day to day.  Fortunately I have, over the past few years, made some attempts to develop alternative ways to support myself and do have ideas to enact.  Now, I also have the “reason” to get serious and get things done.This blog is my attempt to share my experience with what works and what does not with  those of you who have the same desire to retire as early as possible.  This will be an on going experiment and honest assessment of different money-making ideas.  Please join me on this adventure!Harold
